Meet Linda Fossum, CPCC
After teaching in a large school system, Linda returned to college to pursue a second Bachelor’s Degree
in business. She worked for Fortune 500 companies such as Target, Carlson Co., Deluxe Check, and First Data to name a few. The last few years of her corporate experience
were spent developing training departments from the ground up within large IT departments. Her successes in developing strategic and tactical plans; handling budgets;
hiring staff and mentoring them to take over the newly created departments allowed her to move from one large company to another keeping her love of change for the
better always there.
After almost 30 years of concentrating her efforts within large corporations, Linda decided to focus on the parts of her job that were the most thrilling and
rewarding – the development of high potential individuals through mentoring and coaching. In mid career, she chose to leave a lucrative Corporate America career
to become a life/corporate coach and trainer. She now works with clients nationwide who want to reach their potential within their organization as well as outside
the traditional work day.
Because of her love of learning and sharing, Linda is always looking for better ways to service and support her clients.
- She is a qualified MBTI (Myers Briggs) facilitator and uses it as a key tool for coaching and on–site training. She believes understanding ourselves
and others is a critical tool in our ability to be successful within work and family groups.
- Linda is also a qualified Corporate Coach U Coaching Clinic® facilitator. She provides a two day on–site workshop for executives, managers,
HR professionals and leaders who want to learn crucial coaching skills and competencies in order to develop their high potential staff.
- She is an authorized facilitator for the “Now What? 90 Days to a New Life Direction” coaching program.
- She has receiver her Certified Professional Co-active Coaching (CPCC) certification through Coaches Training Institute.
- She is a member of International Coaching Federation (ICF).
What Clients Say...
My name is Joseph B. and I was offered an opportunity to be coached by Linda. While I had no expectations of our sessions,
I thought I would give them my full attention as well as an open mind. My case was a bit different than most for her because I
hadn't even thought about the current job market and didn't have any idea where to start.
After becoming disabled 14 years ago, I hadn't even thought myself capable of any work. Linda helped me to simplify what I wanted
to do, helped me to implement a strategy and most importantly, put the spark of self-confidence back in my eye. She has an innate
talent for reading people and doing what it takes to motivate them. Whenever we speak, I always feel energized afterward.
What Linda did for me in just a few sessions was to help me to define the direction that I wished to pursue, to set some
realistic boundaries and to put into motion a plan that would not overwhelm, nor discourage me.
While I've sought advice in the past from friends or family, there is nothing like the right person for the job. Linda seems to
have a wealth of resources as well as great communication skills.
If you are serious about doing whatever it takes to achieve your goal, then I am certain that Linda's coaching will help to better you.
Just be prepared to work. Her time is too valuable for excuses or complacency.
